“I'm driven by color, light, transparency, and chance. The interactions between colors in a given environment become inspiration for my work. One such inspiration came from a cup of tea. I was intrigued not only by the color of the tea, but also by the teabag itself. The use of teabags in my artwork has presented an opportunity to explore many aspects of color and light, as well as transform found materials into something with greater presence."
